Using macro tubes 2 segments and 50mm lens

Ok, here I am again trying the macro tubes. This time I closed the aperture as much as I could having in mind the available light and the light from a 500w lamp.

This flower has less than 8 mm in diameter

I've to shot more than 10 shots from this angle in order to get a decent shot. Even though I liked it, I'm not 100% satisfied with it.

I keep playing with the 3 segment macro tube. In this case I picked a weird hairy plant and wet plant.

I don't like DOF that much in this picture since there are several random interesting focused points within a kinda chaos. I think I would had to increase the DOF by closing the aperture (however it needs a lot more light I used). It's quite difficult to see this at the very moment you are taking the picture with the tubes.

Anyway I like colors and composition.

I like this shot. Looks focused and soft. But the timing was not as good as I expected

I was testing the fast shooter of the D90, I wonder how It would look even with a faster shooter.
